Connect to your SmartBroom
To connect to your device, turn it on and bring it close to your phone.
To select a SmartBroom from a list, tap ‘Discovered # SmartBrooms’.
Start a new sweep
Once your device has connected you will see its signal strength and battery level at the top of the screen.
Before starting a sweep you may optionally add:
- The sweeper’s name
- Notes on the current sweep
- A custom file-name to identify the data later
Tap ‘Start New Sweep’ to begin collecting data.
Review your sweep
While your sweep is ongoing you will see data streaming into the graph in real time.
Tap ‘Stop and Save Sweep’ to end your sweep and save the data to file, or ‘Cancel and Delete Sweep’ to end your sweep and discard the data.
Later, use the Review tab to browse past sweeps. More information on file review here.
Preferences
Customize your SmartBroom App’s behaviour in the Preferences screen.
Choose between Kg and pounds for force data.
Automatic connection will always try to re-connect to the last-used device on launch.
Proximity connection will enable automatic tap-to-connect from the main screen.
Connection sensitivity will change the distance your phone must be from your SmartBroom for proximity connection.
