Introducing BlueFoam 2 - New and Approved

Kitchener ON, JULY 23, 2025 — Canadian Curling Tools is excited to announce the release of a brand new foam for the 2025/2026 season, BlueFoam 2.

BlueFoam 2 is an all-new formulation of curling's bluest foam, which meets the updated requirements for this season. BlueFoam 2 has been tested and approved by World Curling for use at all levels of competitive play.

“In 2024 we leapfrogged the entire industry with the release of our first generation BlueFoam. When the specs changed this year we put our heads down and got back to work. We’ve tested over 100 different foam formulations (really), and the result is our new BlueFoam 2. Our customers are going to love it" shared Andrew Flemming, an engineer in the Curling Tools advanced foams group.

BlueFoam 2 does it all. It keeps SmartBrooms compliant with all World Curling regulations for competitive play, while maintaining the world class effectiveness that sweepers around the world have come to expect from all Curling Tools products.

Availability

BlueFoam 2 is now shipping with all new SmartBroom orders, and is available for standalone purchase.

Compatibility

BlueFoam 2 is compatible with any SmartBroom 3 or BasicBroom, though our World Curling certification only applies to SmartBrooms while we wait for World Curling to end their pause on new equipment submissions, and allow BasicBroom to be certified.
