SmartBroom 4 LED Indication

SmartBroom 4 has four LEDs hidden beneath its translucent housing which are used to indicate device state.
- Two system-state LEDs on either side of the main load bar
- One charging-state LED on the edge of the device beside the USB port
- One fault LED near the top of the button

Battery LED
USB Unplugged
Without a USB cable connected, the battery LED briefly indicates the state of charge when you turn on your SmartBroom.

| 50–100% | Green |
| 20–49% | Orange |
| 0–19% | Red |
| Below 5% | Flashing red (continuously) |
USB Connected
When USB power is present, the battery LED indicates charging status.

| 100% (fully charged) | Solid green |
| 81–99% | Breathing green |
| 20–80% | Breathing orange |
| 0–19% | Breathing red |
System State LEDs
| LED indication | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Both solid blue | Ready to sweep, with background data collection enabled |
| Flashing white | Not ready for background data collection, waiting for bluetooth connection |
| Brief rainbow disco | Bluetooth connection established |
| Alternating purple and blue blend | Active Bluetooth connection |
| Flashing blue | Actively broadcasting live data to a Bluetooth device |
Tip
In normal use you will turn on your SmartBroom, see two solid blue LEDs, and start your game. Your SmartBroom will handle the rest.
Fault LED
You should never see this LED illuminated, but it may flash a white and red code that can be useful for us helping to diagnose any issues the device may be having. If you see such a code, please contact us.
