SmartBeam LED Indication
Each SmartBeam unit has three sets of LEDs used to indicate various device and system state: The Beam State LED and System State LEDs live within the top light-bar. The Charging State LED is on the side of the unit, directly above the USB port.
Beam State LED
The Beam State LED is an arrow-shaped LED pointed down the top of the SmartBeam unit. The colour of this LED always indicates the state of the unit's beam.

Charging State LED
The Charging State LED shines through a small hole on the side of the unit, directly above the USB port. This LED is only on while USB is powered, and always indicates charging status. The LED will continue to be illuminated while USB is powered, even after the device has been powered off.

The two ends of the top light-bar contain the system state LEDs.

| Battery depleted | 🔴✨ Red flashes before the device shuts down |
